gas filled and sealed to make it waterproof and fog-prof in harshest condition.

General Features
Magnification (7)x50:
It is the first number that defines the characteristics of a binocular and refers to its approach
power (magnification). For marine use and hand-held, in which our base is not always fixed,
7x binoculars, at most, are recommended for good image stability and focus. In this case (7x), the
observed scene appears 7 times closer (larger) than naked eye.
Lens Diameter 7x(50):
It is the second figure and refers to the diameter of the lens in mm. The larger diameter the brighter
image. For marine use in low light conditions and hand-held, we recommend using Ø 50 mm. binoculars.
Width of Field:
Indicates the extent of the scene visible from a distance of 1000 Mts. The higher magnification, the
narrower field amplitude. Our RC 7x50 Marine with 7.1° of visual angle provides a 124 Mts.
wide scene at 1000 Mts. distance.
Prisms and Lens Coating:
- Blue Coating: For improved brightness and contrast,
- Green coating: Multi-layer coating for better colour, brightness and contrast. Green coating is
ideal for use at sea. Allows maximum light transmission and reduces glare.
- ETE-Microlux coating: Optical System designed to get the best possible brightness. Each lens
allows 99.7% light transmission.
- Ruby coating: Multi-layer coating light red colored to filter sunlight. Ideal for sea and snow.
Focus System:
- Center Focus: Manual focus with central knob,
- Individual Focus / Auto-focus: individualized manual focus for each eye and auto-focus afterwards.
Prism Type:
- BK7 (Schott): Boronslicate standard crown glass prism. Limited performance material,
- Select BK7 (Schott): Boronsilicate extra crown glass prism. Medium performance material,
- BaK4 (Schott): Barium Oxide crown glass prism. High index material in high-end hand-held binoculars.
Gel-Coat Sealer
Made with cutting-edge nano-technology, this treatment is applicable to all gelcoat surfaces and
effectively combines cleaning, polishing and sealing in a single process. Very easy to apply, without
any additional pretreatment.
